Grammy-award winning songwriter LaShawn Daniels — aka Big Shiz — has reportedly died. Daniels, who was a veteran songwriter who wrote songs for everyone from Michael Jackson to Lady Gaga to Whitney Houston to Destiny’s Child, was only 41 at the time of his death.

Details around his death have not been confirmed by outlets, but friends in the music industry have been sending their condolences on social media. Artists like Kehlani, Tank, Victoria Monét, & more have been showing love for the veteran songwriter:

For decades, LaShawn Daniels worked closely with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. He wrote iconic songs like Brandy & Monica’s “The Boy is Mine,” Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name,” Whitney Houston’s “It’s Not Right But it’s Okay,” Jennifer Lopez’ “If You Had My Love,” & more.
