The nominations for the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards are in! Presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the awards ceremony will be celebrating its 46th iteration this year.

“The incredible level of talent & craft reflected in our nominees continues to show the growing impact of Daytime television & the incredible diversity of programming the viewing audience has to choose from,” said Executive Director, Daytime, Brent Stanton, per Variety.

“With the help of some outstanding new additions to our staff, Rachel Schwartz & Lisa Armstrong, & the continued support of Luke Smith & Christine Chin, we have handled another record-breaking number of entries this year. Many thanks to our hundreds of great judges, who through their hard work & dedication, have come up with a stellar list of nominees that exemplify the best in daytime!”

The Digital Series category is super promising—Facebook Watch scored big with its highly successful Red Table Talk, hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, & Adrienne Banfield-Jones (lovingly known as “Gammy”) copping a nomination for Outstanding Informative Talk Show. Per Red Table Talk’s press release, the show will be bringing more than 20 all-new episodes starting this May.
