Police wasted no time apprehending Tekashi once his flight from abroad landed at JFK Airport. Authorities didn’t want to run the risk of the resourceful rapper further eluding them.

According to the police report, 6ix9ine was arrested for choking 16 year old Santiago Albarran at the Galleria Mall in Houston, TX over cellphone video footage. The embattled rapper is expected to be extradited to Houston next week on one count of misdemeanor assault.
