No longer under contract with the San Francisco 49ers, free agent Eric Reid has come to the realization no NFL team is interested in his services. Although he is considered the best safety available, no National Football League owner wants to sign him because of his recent protest of the National Anthem.  

According to a reliable source, owners are secretly regaining control of their teams & are positioning themselves to remove politics & activism from their stadiums & arenas. They will no longer tolerate any player sharing or actively displaying Kaepernick-ish ideologies.

Reid has noticed the lack of phone calls & interest for his services. The former wing man of Colin Kaepernick has gone on record begging for a job & has publicly promised to NEVER protest AGAIN if he’s signed by an NFL team.

Reid’s present day views are an about face from his tough talk of yester-years. Then he vowed to keep hope alive & protest even if it meant him getting blackballed from the NFL. Now that the time has come for his black to be blackened, Eric has decided money is more important than being righteous.
